Boat Launch ramps

TWO BOAT LAUNCHES WITH ACCESS TO LAKE  MEMPHREMAGOG 

 

The first ramp is located at Copp’s Square, located in the heart of Georgeville. The second ramp is located at Forand Park, 201 Narrows Road (Route 247), located at the head of Fitch Bay, this also flows into Lake Memphremagog.

These two boat launches are free for all residents of Stanstead Township including washing*, launching and parking. Make sur to have the right document to have free access. 

* The washing station is located only at Forand Park.

 
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO GET YOUR DAY PASS, WEEKLY PASS OR STICKER 

Resident status

– A photo ID;
– A document showing a concordance between the name of the resident and his or her address of residence in the municipality (e.g.: copy of tax account…);
– The address appearing on the registration of the boat concerned.

N.B. Without this demonstration, the fees used will be those of a non-resident.

Non-resident status

-A photo ID;
-Registration of the boat

Marina Tenant Status

Present the following information in person to the attendant:

  • Identification with address and photo;
  • Boat registration.
  • Provide a valid copy of the rental agreement (rental time must be indicated) for a marina site.

Boat launch of Lake Lovering

The boat launch of Lake Lovering is accessible from the des Tourterelles street. It is reserved for the residents of stanstead Township. A permanent gate is installed and you must have the key to access it. To obtain the key, citizens must present themselves at the Capitainerie at 353, Hatley Street (launching ramp, Magog River) and deposit $ 35 (cash or debit). You must present a document issued by the municipality (778 Sheldon Road) confirming that you are a resident of Stanstead Township and your certificate of registration of the vessel.
