Thank you for nominating me for the Canton Stanstead Volunteer of the Year Award. I am deeply honored to have been nominated by several individuals. However, I must respectfully decline the nomination. I believe that members of the municipal council should not be eligible for municipal awards. I sincerely appreciate the recognition from those who nominated me—it is truly an honor to know that people value my efforts.
