DIMENSIONS

The width of a private dock may not exceed 2 m for the first 5 meters from the shore. Afterwards a maximum width of 3 m is permitted.

The length of a private dock may not exceed 15 m. However, when the water depth at low water, this distance is less than 1.2 m, it is possible to increase the length to reach a water depth of 1.2 m without exceeding 30 m in length. The length of the quay is measured from the high water line. When the dock length exceeds 15 m, it must be equipped with reflectors at the end, on three sides, so as to be visible at night.

The area of a private dock may not exceed 30 m². However, if it is allowed to exceed the maximum length of 15 m, the maximum area is 60 sqm.

The area of a shelter or work to protect a boat can not exceed 37.5 m² and height can not exceed 5 m above the high water level.
A period of 30 days might be needed to issue a permit or certificate after all documents are submitted.*
