Stanstead Township- Friday, June 2, 2023. Stanstead Township wishes to remind you that rehabilitation and paving work on Fitch Bay Road will begin on June 12, 2023. Completion is scheduled for the end of July 2023.
Traffic will therefore be disrupted by the work and by the necessary comings and goings of trucks. Depending on the progress of the work, traffic will alternate at certain points along the entire length of Fitch Bay Road (6.04 km) in the municipality.
For your own safety and that of the workers, we ask you to pay close attention to the instructions given by the signallers.
The Township thanks you for your cooperation and patience, which will make it easier for everyone to get around the municipality.
The MTQ is also planning to carry out work on the Fitch Bay bridge on Fitch Bay Rd, which may cause delays in your movements.

Detour on June 12 and 13 on Fitch Bay Road
Work on the joints of the Fitch Bay Bridge (07247) will also be carried out by the MTQ on June 12 and 13, and we suggest using the detour below.
You will be able to use Remick and Gendron roads during this work.
